I have drier combination skin and I was looking for a suitable day cream that would be moisturizing and also suitable for use with other products without leaving too thick a layer on the skin. Although it looks like a gel, it has a thicker consistency, like a more liquid version of Vaseline. I've been using it for a few days and while I can't comment on the long-term effects, I feel that it's a bit lacking for drier skin in the autumn weather. Although I wear a serum under it and SPF on top, I am forced to add a little more day cream on top. Otherwise, after a few hours you will feel that the skin has not received enough hydration. What you should definitely keep in mind is that this cream initially has a very strong smell, which is a separately added component to the cream as the ingredients list shows. I didn't have an allergic reaction to it, but those with very sensitive skin should probably be careful about it. And while this might be a plus for some, I'm also rather bothered by the packaging of this cream, which is impractically large and heavy and feels like a lot of plastic for one single-use package. I'll probably wear it out, but it should provide a visible change in my skin to outweigh its imperfections. I wouldn't buy it again myself and wouldn't dare to recommend it to others either.
